Today we are celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and therefore our bright female minds at the CTC. They are working in different professional fields, following our mission of transforming chemistry on many levels: new materials, new chemical processes and plants, and a new way of conducting chemical research.
For example, Data Scientist Laura Lintis is working on a project to create a database for lignin chemistry. Pooja Dwivedi is developing and implementing social, environmental and economical metrics and indicators to assess the circularity of materials, processes and technologies. Claudia Martinez Macias is part of our team responsible for developing and implementing innovative laboratory concepts for our temporary and permanent buildings, and Scientific Talent Manager Juliane Adler is helping to identify future talent, acting as an interface between science and HR.
We believe that diversity fuels innovation and science thrives on different perspectives. Today, we thank all women in science – at CTC and around the world – who push boundaries, challenge conventions, and inspire future generations.
