Getting to Leipzig

Leipzig is well connected by air and rail and easy to navigate once you arrive.

By plane:
Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ) is about 20 minutes from the city center. From the airport, take the S-Bahn (S5 or S5X) to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Main Station).

By train:
Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is one of Europe’s largest terminal stations, with frequent high-speed ICE connections from Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, and other major cities.

Getting to the Conference Venue

Address: Jahnallee 59, 04109 Leipzig

From Leipzig Hauptbahnhof:

  • Take tram 3, 7, or 15 in the direction of Knautkleeberg (line 3), Böhlitz-Ehrenberg (line 7), or Miltitz (line 15) and get off at Sportforum Süd. Travel time is approximately 10–15 minutes.

From Leipzig/Halle Airport:

  • Take the S-Bahn to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, then continue by tram as described above.

By Car

  • From the A9 or A14, follow signs toward Leipzig-Zentrum, then continue on the ring road (Ring/B87) toward Jahnallee.
  • Paid parking is available at the Red Bull Arena, right next to the venue. 5-8 min walk to venue.
